Job Description

In this high-profile role you'll use your considerable expertise in the field to oversee the structure, operation and growth of our talented art groups.

Coaching, mentoring and team development are the key focus for this position.  You’ll use your experience in these areas to identify and mentor emerging talent, in addition to taking an active role in the recruitment process where opportunities for team growth arise.

You’ll work with the Art Director and your direct reports to ensure that our art teams are applying optimal production strategies and are structured and resourced appropriately.  You will also have regular contact with the Art Producer, who will undertake planning and scheduling activities.

You should have:

• Experience of leading an Art team through full-lifecycle project development.
• A proven track record in the management and delivery of high performance, high quality artwork for AAA titles.
• The ability to confidently present best practices to art teams, critiquing problematic assets and workflows.
• The ability to identify project risks and recommend appropriate mitigation & contingencies.
• Demonstrable leadership & management experience.
• Knowledge of a wide range of art packages and where best they should be used.
