Hi, I’m Sandor Roberts, founder of ‘G3D’. I created the business in 2005, which was originally called ‘SEMAG’ (‘GAMES’ spelt backwards) as our client base consisted purely of game developers. As the company grew and expanded we started working with non-games companies, which all used similar technologies/techniques to games developers i.e. 3d Graphics, VFX, Virtual Reality, Advanced Visualisation, Real-Time Visualisation. As a result we rebranded to ‘G3D’ (Games and 3d).
Having previously worked for a recruitment company before setting up the business their ‘shark’ like recruitment practices and methods didn’t sit well with me so I decided to go it alone as I knew I could do a better job. ..I haven’t looked back since and haven’t had any regrets. My goal was to provide a highly personal and dedicated service to both the candidates and clients I work with and I constantly strive to do that.
Most recruitment companies focus on the end result i.e. the commission, and as a result treat candidates like numbers, have no emotional attachment and don’t take the time to really understand their needs. I’m a firm believer that success in any area of life is a by-product of being passionate about what you do, caring, working extremely hard and focusing in detail on every step of the process. The end result will take care of itself.
I’m also completely transparent with the companies I work with, so if you see a job you are interested in I won’t hide the details of the company like a lot of recruitment companies do, and one thing I’ll never do is send your details to a company without getting your consent/permission first.
I’m extremely passionate about what I do and I genuinely love helping candidates find great companies to work for, and equally finding great candidates for the companies I work with.
